Call for Volunteers
To all of our great ISPI-FRC members and those thinking of joining...
Over the past year, we have had some great events and excellent speakers: a workshop and evening event with Thiagi, "Organizational Performance" with Bob Carleton, "Leading Customer-Centered Change" with Joe Durzo, "Mobile Learning" with Mark Lauren, and a workshop and evening event with Dr. Judy Hale. These events were made possible by the time and energy of our great volunteers.
However, some of our Board members have stepped down and, unfortunately, no one has stepped up to volunteer for these positions. This reduction in volunteers on the board and helping with activities means that we have had to reduce the number of events that we can sponsor during the next year.
As an all volunteer board, we need members like YOU to help us maintain ISPI-FRC as the premier organization for performance and instructional technology practitioners throughout the Front Range area. I am asking each of you to think about how valuable the networking and educational events presented by ISPI-FRC are to you, and ask yourself if you can spare just a couple of hours a month to take a role in this great organization. We have some Board positions and lots of additional opportunities for you to join with us on committees or to volunteer for a specific event or activity—such as helping with the Scholarship Committee or working on a special event, like the ones with Thiagi or Judy Hale.
As the old saying goes, “many hands make light work”, so if you can volunteer just a couple of hours a month or if you would like some additional information, simply email president@ispi-frc.org, ask any member of the Board or pick up a Volunteer Application at a member meeting.
We want you to become part of the team!

Venues Needed
To better serve our diverse membership, ISPI-FRC is looking for additional locations (e.g., DTC area, Denver West, Aurora, Parker, Broomfield) for our monthly meetings and workshops. Meeting times are typically evening (5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.) or half-day or full-day workshops, all during the work week. We are also looking at the interest level for holding meetings over lunch (11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.).
If your company or other organization has a suitable meeting space for 30 to 60 people and would be willing to host one or more monthly meetings, please let us know. We have marketing opportunities and corporate sponsorships available. Contact Jara Raphaelson for more information.
If you are interested in attending meetings over lunch, please email Jara Raphaelson and let her know.
