Where Knowledge Becomes Know-How
ISPI Chapter of Excellence Award for 2010.
We are extremely pleased to announce that the Front Range Chapter has been selected to receive the ISPI Chapter of Excellence Award for 2010. The ISPI Awards of Excellence program is designed to showcase the people, products, innovations, and organizations that represent excellence in the field of instructional and Human Performance Technology.
A big Thank You goes to our Past President, Mark Laurin, who shepherded our application through the criterion-based selection process.
We'll be receiving the Award at the Recognition Luncheon on Tuesday, April 20th at THE Performance Improvement Conference in San Francisco. We would like to have all the Chapter members attending the conference join us for the Award Ceremony. If you will be at the Conference, please drop me a note at Jim@PrettyGoodConsulting.biz so we can save you a seat at our table.
Thanks for all your support
Jim Schultz, President ISPI-FRC
Special Events:
We're kicking the New Year Off Right!
The ISPI Front Range Chapter February Workshop with Judy Hale has expanded from a half-day program to a full-day! And we're keeping it at the same price!
Thursday, February 18, 2010 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Join Judy Hale, Ph.D., for Implementation: Sustaining Initiatives, a look at how to go beyond the launch and roll out of an initiative, and increase the odds that your work makes a difference.
Learning and performance improvement initiatives depend on others adopting new behaviors, technology, standards, values, and more for the expected results to materialize. Therefore, this workshop goes beyond the launch and roll out of an initiative. It is about how to increase the odds new behaviors, technology, standards, values, and more produce the desired results because they are fully adopted by the organization. Organizations invest millions of dollars on initiatives intended to improve productivity; unfortunately, after the initial launch there is little evidence of change and the promise of improvement is not fulfilled.
